Banner is a collection of forms with embedded instructions used to enter, modify, delete, and query data. Banner provides the screens and programs necessary to manipulate data. The access, use, and protection of this data is outlined within these procedures.

These guidelines establish measures for the protection, access, and use of the University of Central Oklahoma’s (UCO) Banner system and equipment. They also define the responsibilities of those that access and manage the data and equipment. Offices may have individual guidelines that supplement but do not supplant or contradict this statement.
